Yasin has done his M.A. in Development from Azim Premji University and B.A. from Delhi University. Prior to co-founding Library for All, he has engaged with impact assessment team as local data analyst at Foundation to Educate Girls Globally, in the project of Development Impact Bond in Rajasthan.
He is also an alumnus of the two years Gandhi Fellowship from Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) and Kaivaliya Education Foundation (KEF). During the fellowship he supported Head teachers and teachers of government elementary schools in Rajasthan with the objective to improve student learning outcomes. He worked on pedagogical intervention, setting up and reviving libraries, improving leadership skills of Head Teachers and student learning assessment under guidance of Education Initiatives and PFEL. Previously, he has also worked with UNICEF as global research intern for impact assessment of School Safety programme in Bihar with a publication at Knowledge Community on Children in India.
Yasin leads programme design and organisational development at LfA. His other interests include blogging, photography, travelling and sports.
