Dr.
Gladwin Joseph is the Director and Senior Fellow at ATREE (Ashoka Trust
for Research in Ecology and Environment). Gladwin also serves as the Convenor of
the Academy for Conservation Science and Sustainability Studies. He has served in
senior leadership positions at ATREE since 2000. Gladwin has done his B.Sc (Agriculture),
from the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore in 1986, and M.S (Entomology)
and Ph.D (Forest Science) from Oregon State University in 1996. He has various publications

Vishwanath is a Civil Engineer and Urban and Regional Planner by qualification.
By occupation, he is a Writer and Practitioner of sustainable water management systems.
He also runs a blog/youtube/website (www.rainwaterclub.org)
that is dedicated to rainwater harvesting practices and is also the founder of BIOME
Environmental Solutions (www.biome-solutions.com).
He is a advisor with Argham (a not for profit organisation working in sustainable
water for all) and has been instrumental in shaping its strategies and principles
Sujit
Sinha is the founder of Swanirwar, an NGO working in the area of rural
development in West Bengal since 1990. Swanirwar is involved in school education,
sustainable agriculture, basic preventive healthcare, water, micro-finance and governance.
Sujit began his career as a high school teacher at the Ramakrishna Mission School
in Arunachal Pradesh and then spent a couple of years at AT&T Bell Labs in New Jersey
as a post-doctoral fellow. He has a Masters degree from IIT Kanpur and a Ph.D. in
Chemistry from Princeton University. He is currently with Azim Premji University
as a faculty member.
Suhel
Quader is an ecologist at the National Centre for Biological Sciences
in Bangalore. His research group asks questions about why animals behave as they
do, how populations change as their environment changes, and how the interactions
between species is influenced by their surroundings. Suhel has a particular interest
in participatory science; that is, in encouraging volunteers from all walks of life
to contribute to a better understanding of the natural world. He runs two such Citizen
Science efforts: MigrantWatch (www.migrantwatch.in)
and SeasonWatch (www.seasonwatch.in),
the latter in collaboration with Wirpo Applying Thought in Schools. Suhel's MSc
in Wildlife Science (from the Wildlife Institute of India) was followed by a PhD
from the University of Florida and post-doctoral research at the University of Cambridge.
Suhas
Nerurkar joined Wipro's Eco business 2 years back in its early days
and has been involved in several incubations within the business including the pioneering
Wipro Energy Manager product. Suhas is currently in charge of the design and execution
of the megawatt scale Solar Power Plants being setup by Wipro Ecoenergy for its
customers. Suhas has been involved with Information technology business for
23 years (including 6 years as an entrepreneur) prior to his movement to green technologies.
A B.Tech in Computer science from IIT Kanpur, Suhas also actively supports
local community initiatives in Whitefield thru projects related to lake restoration,
eco friendly garbage clearances, rain water harvesting and water conservation.
