Details
Anadanna was founded by Divakar Bala and Miraj Shah in 2008 as a community service initiative focused on leveraging the willingness of residents of major gated communities around Bangalore to donate food to orphanages. In October of 2009, Divakar had to move to the Bay Area in California, USA. Divakar and Miraj decided to take advantage of the move to start a new initiative with an even greater impact than the food drive. This was the usage of computer to remotely teach children residing in an orphanage in Bangalore.
